Released on 6th November 2012, NASCAR The Game: Inside Line pushed the boundaries of what was known of the NASCAR experience in video games to a whole new level.
Building on an impressive model, the development team at Eutechnyx, took in fan feedback from the previous game in order to build a more robust platform, adding new in-depth features such as a deep career mode a new refurbished online multiplayer experience.
The development team have had access to telemetry data from actual season races in order to build up enhanced AI and create re-liveable accurate NASCAR moments from the past season.
Working in partnership with NASCAR, the team have captured precise details of tracks, car mechanics and race data to create acute faithfulness to the motorsport.
NASCAR The Game: Inside Line is the most authentic, realistic and true driving experience currently available on consoles. With the implementation of telemetry data this has never been truer. This complex tracking system measures data from actual NASCAR races and pinpoints the exact distance between two vehicles at any given time.
The developers have used this information to recreate race scenarios exactly as they occurred in real life with each car precisely where it needs to be.
Using the data in this way means that NASCAR The Game: Inside Line can offer players the chance to recreate historic moments from recent NASCAR history in challenge and head to head modes.
